Greeting

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the forthcoming XXth International Pigment Cell Conference (IPCC2008) and Vth International Melanoma Research Congress (IMRC2008) to be held in Sapporo, Japan in May 2008. These IPCC and IMRC will take place consecutively so that we can focus on current advancements regarding pigment cells, melanocytes and their neoplastic counterpart, malignant melanoma. We wish to explore our knowledge of Molecular Biology regarding these cells in relation to Translational Research and Preventive Medicine. The combination of plenary sessions with invited lectures discussing relevant scientific issues as well as daily, concurrent sessions featuring oral and poster presentations will provide many opportunities for participants to share perspectives and gain new insights.
